Djapo Sacred Threads x Bespokecurry Cosmos is a traveling Black beauty cosmology node — part pop-up, part beauty school altar, part listening space, part living archive.
This is not nostalgia work.
This is culture and healing in motion.
Through Bead & Cowrie, adornment, storytelling, ritual technologies, and community conversation, we explore how Afro beauty practices carry memory, survival, innovation, and future-making all at once.
Throughout the weekend, Bespokecurry will host intimate talks and conversational sessions centering liberated approaches to Afro hair, plant medicine, embodiment, beauty knowledge, sensory memory, and collective care.
This gathering invites people to move beyond performance and reconnect with beauty as practice, relationship, archive, and technology.
