Phase The Film and Record
2018-2020

This project involved collaboration with an artist whose actions later cause personal harm. I include this work as part of my professional history while acknowledging the complexity of that experience.
In this project, I served as Creative Director, shaping the visual world that framed the artist’s sound and story. My role moved fluidly across disciplines — from concept development to on-the-ground execution — to build an immersive aesthetic experience.
I designed and styled hair, crafted props, and curated wardrobe selections that echoed the emotional landscape of the music. Through set dressing and spatial design, I transformed the environment into a living extension of the song’s rhythm and spirit. My creative process centered texture, color, and cultural symbolism, ensuring that every visual detail spoke to the artist’s narrative.
Beyond production, I supported the artist in performance contexts, escorting them to key gigs and appearances to maintain coherence between their visual identity and public presence.
This work reflects my commitment to creative direction as an embodied practice — one rooted in collaboration, care, and the translation of sound into visual form.
