Creative Direction — Enter the World With Me This is for artists, musicians, performers, independent brands, cultural workers and small creative teams who want to bring me into an existing or developing project as a creative director. You may already have the song, collection, performance, campaign, event, film, image, object or idea. I enter the work to recognize the larger world surrounding it and help determine how that world becomes material. My creative direction moves across visual language, narrative, styling, wardrobe, adornment, hair, set and prop design, spatial composition, color, materiality, performance, image-making, research and production. I am especially interested in work that refuses to fit neatly inside one creative category. The $444 initial consultation is a working session, not a free discovery call. Bring what exists: music, writing, references, garments, objects, sketches, research, footage, moodboards or unfinished ideas. Together we examine the project, identify its visual and conceptual language, locate gaps and unrealized possibilities, and determine what creative direction it actually requires. Continuing Creative Direction Work beyond the initial consultation is custom scoped and priced separately. Depending on the project, this may include concept development, creative treatments, visual research, styling and sourcing, set and prop direction, production planning, shoot direction, collaborator coordination, spatial/event direction, material development and ongoing creative oversight. Continued work may be structured through a project fee, day rate or ongoing creative-direction agreement, depending on scope and duration. Materials, fabrication, purchases, rentals, shipping, travel, accommodations and outside collaborators are additional expenses when applicable. This is not about applying an aesthetic to your work. You bring the project. We determine what kind of world it needs to live inside.
