Service Description

A relational cannabis and fungi education offering centered on Black and Brown bodies. This is a place to bring the questions that can disappear between dispensary language, wellness culture, prohibition, medicalization and psychedelic hype. We can explore your existing relationship, intentions, sensory experiences and observations alongside cannabis and fungi literacy. Depending on your questions, our work may include cultivars and strains, terpenes, product labels, consumption methods, context and environment, ritual, documenting experiences, identifying patterns in your own observations, preparing questions for dispensaries or licensed practitioners, and developing a vocabulary for what your body is communicating. Six Waters does not begin with telling you what your body should experience. We build greater capacity to notice, contextualize and understand what is actually happening in relationship with plant, fungi, body and environment. The work also makes room for the cultural and historical conditions surrounding Black and Brown relationships with cannabis and fungi—including prohibition, criminalization, inherited knowledge, access, stigma and the consequences of treating embodied experience as culturally neutral. Scope of work: Six Waters is an educational, cultural and relational offering. It does not provide medical or mental-health diagnosis or treatment, prescriptions, psychedelic therapy, medication management, or instructions for treating health conditions. I can help you understand information, develop questions, document and contextualize experiences, and navigate cannabis and fungi landscapes. Medical and therapeutic decisions remain outside this offering.
