my granny had an orchard of peaches in her backyard and her house plants were behemoth. them people who raised me often had a garden.
by the time the pandemic hit, plants were a place i could be and know myself via how I cared for them.
plant shops with outdoor space were some of the first spaces that were open and safely accessible when we came out of lockdown.
