an innovative community incubator

This is not reform.

This is not inclusion as aesthetic.

This is not the other side of what has always been.

THE LAB

the lab

program pillars at a glance

The Lab is structured around five interwoven pillars that guide how we learn, play, and build together. Each pillar moves us from internal reckoning to collective action—without skipping steps.

Deconditioning & Accountability
We begin by naming how assimilation, apathy, and colonial conditioning live in our bodies and systems. This pillar creates shared language and responsibility before anything new is built.

Sovereignty & Embodiment
The body is treated as a site of knowledge and governance. Participants reconnect to self, purpose, and collective sovereignty through embodied, non-linear practices.

Play & Liminal Experimentation
Play is our methodology. In liminal space—outside urgency and productivity—we experiment, test ideas, and allow new ways of organizing to emerge.
Communal Policy Prototyping
What we learn through play becomes practice. Creative experimentation is translated into actionable communal policies rooted in care, sustainability, and lived experience.

Stewardship & Continuity
The work does not end when the Lab closes. This pillar ensures long-term stewardship, repair, and continuity so change is sustained beyond the moment.

The Lab is not theoretical.
It is live praxis.
A space where imagination becomes infrastructure.

who the lab is for?

The Lab partners with:

  • college campuses and academic institutions

  • festivals, convenings, and conferences

  • cultural organizations and collectives

  • smaller, intimate community spaces

The Lab is adaptable in scale while remaining uncompromising in principle.

THE LAB

what the lab is (and is not)

The Lab is about live praxis.

It is not where theory goes to become verbose and then die.

The Lab is where:

  • learning is embodied

  • policy is tested in real time

  • governance is practiced, not imagined

communities leave with tools, not just language
