YOU’VE ENTERED THE GLITCH. THIS IS MY WORLD: A LIVING COSMOS OF BLACK ART, EMBODIMENT, AND WORLDBUILDING. AFRO HAIR, FOOD, CANNABIS, FUNGI, MOVEMENT, ADORNMENT, SOUND, WRITING, EDUCATION, AND CREATIVE DIRECTION LIVE HERE IN RELATIONSHIP. MOVE WITH YOUR BODY. FOLLOW WHAT PULLS YOU. FLOA(TINGS)

BespokeCurry exists because no single discipline could hold the way I work. Give me a material, a medium, a system, or a set of ingredients and I understand how to enter into creative relationship with it. I study how it behaves, find the connections, and move an idea into form.

Across this practice, Afro hair becomes terrain and technology; food becomes memory and creative direction; cannabis and fungi become plant relationship; movement becomes regulation; adornment becomes infrastructure. Sound, color, writing, education, performance, and production are not side paths. They are ways the same creative intelligence travels.

The Wata(ring) W(hole), The Tings, Afroscape, Bead and Cowrie, and BlackCurry Productions are distinct worlds within that ecology. Each changes the material and scale, but not the method: encounter, study, experiment, connect, develop, and execute.

The Almighty Spliff

Observe Tings is brought to you by the letter A for The Almighty Spliff. BespokeCurry follows the relationship between Cannabis and tobacco through Black weed culture, scarcity, pleasure, colonial extraction, neurodivergent regulation and Mycelial Sankofa. From funnel and spliffs to tobacco’s place in Black agricultural history, this Cannabis Field Note asks what becomes possible when we move beyond good plant/bad plant binaries and pay attention to relationship, moderation and what the body actually notices. Puff puff pass the knowledge.

The Cosmos Ep 003 - Astro Me - The Body Was Speaking First

A year after emergency surgery, I stopped asking why my body failed and started asking what it had been trying to tell me. Looking back through astrology, embodiment, OCD, autism, movement, and lineage, I realized I wasn’t searching for prediction. I was learning how to remember what my body already knew.

BESPOKECURRY COSMOS TRANSMISSION 002 Welcome back to the Bespokecurry Cosmos. In this week’s transmission, I move beyond processing and begin introducing the ecosystem itself: a living archive of essays, field notes, diagrams, symbols, workshops, stories, and frameworks exploring embodiment, Black life, neurodivergence, culture, ancestry, gender, food, adornment, astrology, fungi, cannabis, and becoming. This week we explore three seemingly different pieces of the cosmos: ✦ Gemini → Aries ← Cancer: On Multiplicity, Lineage, and Becoming the Release A reflection on leaving Gemini season, entering Cancer season, and what it means to be an Aries sitting between the two. Through the lineage of my Gemini grandmother and Cancer mother, the essay explores multiplicity, inheritance, release, and the possibility that becoming may require expansion rather than reduction. ✦ My Emotions Are My Process A reflection on crying, embodiment, and what happens when the body begins processing before the mind understands why. Rather than treating emotion as weakness, disruption, or manipulation, this piece considers feeling as a form of movement, integration, and release. ✦ I Adorn Tings An exploration of adornment as relationship, memory, technology, and embodiment. Moving beyond fashion or aesthetics, this work asks what happens when culture becomes wearable, when memory becomes object, and when the body carries lineage through adornment. Together these pieces reveal one of the central questions of the Bespokecurry Cosmos: How do we become ourselves? How do we carry lineage? How do we release what no longer fits? How do we embody what remains? In this transmission: Astrology becomes a map. Crying becomes a process. Adornment becomes an artifact. And the ecosystem begins to reveal itself. Read the essays: https://www.bespokecurry.com/mbeguyaardhi The cosmos keeps expanding. ––––– COMMUNITY BOUNDARIES This channel is rooted in intention and care. Curiosity is welcome. Questions are welcome. Good-faith disagreement is welcome. Harassment, bigotry, and bad-faith engagement are not. I am not interested in debates about my humanity, my gender, my neurodivergence, or my existence. I am implicated in the mess. The work often functions as a mirror. Not everyone enjoys what they see reflected there. That is okay. The goal is not consensus. The goal is relationship. You may watch, share the original link, and engage with the ideas presented here.
