Please engage with care. ----------- Pop-up season is kicking off a little rough around the edges, which feels appropriate considering how much of community work happens in real time. In this Field Note, I’m verbally processing some recent experiences, thinking about entities, pattern recognition, and the ways communities reveal themselves through action rather than intention. I’m also reflecting on what it means to keep building while simultaneously learning, teaching, observing, and adjusting. Nothing particularly polished here. Just a moment of noticing what is floating through the Bespokecurry Cosmos this week and allowing the thoughts to move before they become an essay. Sometimes understanding arrives through writing. Sometimes it arrives through speaking it out loud. This week it seems to be both. I am still in the process of figuring video out fully so that is is accessible to everyone. The sound is not the best on this one as I forgot to mic and my headphones were malfunctioning. It is best listened to with headphones.
