Begin with the Manifesto

If you’ve just arrived here, start with the manifesto.

Abstract clay-based symbol representing Trans Learn Tings, featuring layered geometric forms and textured surfaces that evoke embodiment, identity, and transformation.
Abstract clay-based symbol representing Trans Learn Tings, featuring layered geometric forms and textured surfaces that evoke embodiment, identity, and transformation.

Not because it explains everything, but because it orients you. It introduces the language, the structure, and the way this work moves. It is less of a statement and more of an entry point into how to read, feel, and move through what is being built.

From there, you can

follow what pulls you.

Some will move into I Know Tings—where the writing sits closer to critique, pattern recognition, and the unraveling of systems.

Some will move into Trans Learn Tings—where identity, embodiment, and lived practice are held with more intimacy and fluidity. Many of you may arrive here searching for language around Black neurodivergence, OCD, AuDHD, and what it means to exist in a body that has always been asked to perform instead of be. That lives here too.

Some will move into I Eat Tings—where food becomes method, memory, and a site of regulation and return. Within that, the cannabis field notes and fungi field notes offer more specific pathways—tracking how plant and fungal intelligence support embodiment, perception, and recalibration over time.

And some will land in Afroscape—a field guide in motion that holds hair, body, and atmosphere as interconnected systems of care and signal.

There is no correct order beyond beginning.

You do not need to understand everything at once. This is not a body of work meant to be consumed quickly. It is something you return to, move through, and build relationship with over time.

If something doesn’t land immediately, let it sit.

If something stays with you, follow it.

That is the work.

And one more thing—

There is no static version of me available here.

I am always changing.

Transforming.

Evolving.

You will see that reflected across this website.

This is not a fixed archive.

It is a living body of work.

Claymation-style whale moving through a dark, fluid environment, representing the Bespokecurry Cosmos as a vast, living system of knowledge, body, and transformation.

Not a commodified tool,

but something in motion.

This site requires your curiosity.

When you return, something may have changed.

Something may have shifted.

Something may be clickable that wasn’t before.

Move with it.

The navigation above in the header is beyond a menu.

It is a body of water.

Each symbol is a living marker — a way of moving through the Bespokecurry Cosmos without relying on linear language alone.

You are not scrolling a site.

You are entering an ecosystem.

Whale (Bespokecurry Cosmos / Home) Clay whale symbol representing the Bespokecurry Cosmos as a large container where all systems and content exist.

The whale holds everything.

Snail (The Blog) Clay snail symbol representing the blog Mbegu Ya Ardhi (earthseed) as slow-moving, reflective knowledge that carries memory over time.

The snail moves the blog — slow, deliberate, carrying memory.

The octopus maps the self — intelligence, reach, multiplicity.

Clay shell form representing the Embodiment Diagram as a structural system that holds, processes, and organizes bodily experience rather than movement.
Clay shell form representing the Embodiment Diagram as a structural system that holds, processes, and organizes bodily experience rather than movement.

The shell marks the Embodiment Diagram.

It is not movement. It is structure.

A holding form — mapping how the body processes, contains, and returns to itself.

Where other symbols move through the water, the shell stays anchored.

This is where sensation becomes pattern.

Where pattern becomes understanding.

Small clay snail or slug symbol representing The Exploration as slow, adaptive movement through unknown ideas and evolving concepts.
Small clay snail or slug symbol representing The Exploration as slow, adaptive movement through unknown ideas and evolving concepts.

The small eye snail marks The Exploration.

It moves without a fixed path.

Slow, sensing, adjusting — this is where I test, wander, and follow what has not yet been named.

Clay jellyfish with long trailing forms representing depth, emotional flow, unseen systems, and both softness and sting.
Jellyfish (The Wata(ring) W(hole)) Clay jellyfish with long trailing forms representing depth, emotional flow, unseen systems, and both softness and sting.

From there, the water expands.

Jellyfish drift through the Wata(ring) W(hole) — unseen systems, depth, and the places where feeling becomes structure.

Cluster of small clay fish moving together, representing multiplicity, categories, and collective movement.
School of Fish (The Tings / Members) Cluster of small clay fish moving together, representing multiplicity, categories, and collective movement.

Fish move in schools through The Tings — knowledge as multiplicity, not hierarchy.

Single bright clay fish representing a signal, message, and recurring point of communication.
Single Fish (Knewsletter) Single bright clay fish representing a signal, message, and recurring point of communication.

A single fish signals the Knewsletter — a recurring pulse.

Crab, squid, stingray, shrimp — each form holds a way of thinking:

sideways, fluid, grounded, repetitive, adaptive.

These are not decorative choices.

They are logic systems.

This is how I map:

  • body

  • mind

  • system

  • material

  • archive

  • and the unknown

Some pages anchor.

Some drift.

Some sting.

Some transform.

All of it lives in the same water.

Move slowly.

Follow what pulls you.

Return when needed.
