≋✺Strawberry Cough — Morning Key — Six Waters Cannabis Field Notes

Opening Reflection
Some plants arrive like conversation.
Some arrive like sleep.
Strawberry Cough arrives like a key in the morning lock.
Before the body has even fully woken, the mind sometimes begins running — loops forming automatically, thoughts circling themselves before the day has even started.
Strawberry Cough does not silence those loops.
Instead, it loosens them.
It opens a small passage through the current so the mind can step out of its own repetition.
Where other strains shift mood or energy, Strawberry Cough performs a quieter task:
It gives the day somewhere to begin.
Strawberry Cough Snapshot
Original Strain: Strawberry Cough
Field Name: Morning Key
Type: Sativa-leaning RSO (rick simpson oil)
Method: RSO (oral)
Time Used: Early morning
Date Logged: March 1–3, 2026
The Field Notes
Dawn
This is where Strawberry Cough reveals itself most clearly.
Taken around 5:44 am, shortly after waking, the strain begins working before the mind has fully gathered its momentum.
Within about twenty minutes the nervous system softens.
Thought loops are still present but lose their grip.
The body feels awake but calm.
River — Movement

Abstract
Later in the morning, additional cannabis was layered.
A joint of MAC Smasher with Gugu Gold Moon Rocks created muscle release in the hips and shoulders and moved the body into digestion.
River water appeared as physical movement through the system rather than mental stimulation.
Mood was relaxed and steady.
Thought loops were still present but noticeably lighter, easier to redirect rather than becoming sticky or repetitive.
Later, smoking a bowl through water produced a completely different texture of experience compared with the joint mixture.
The body felt more grounded, more relaxed.
This continues to reinforce an observation I return to often in these field notes:
water changes the conversation between plant and body.

Deep — Memory
Strawberry Cough did not pull strongly into the deeper waters during this observation period.
There were no heavy introspective states or emotional excavations.
Instead, the strain stayed closer to the surface waters — stabilizing the system rather than opening deeper psychological layers.
Sometimes the medicine is not excavation.
Sometimes it is maintenance.
Still — Regulation
This is where Strawberry Cough shows its clearest relationship with my nervous system.
Morning OCD looping often begins automatically when I wake. Without intervention it can run for hours before settling.
With Strawberry Cough RSO taken early in the morning, those loops soften dramatically.
They do not disappear entirely, but they lose their urgency. The mind becomes less reactive to its own thoughts, which makes it easier to move attention elsewhere.
On the second day of tracking, the loop disruption was even more pronounced when the RSO was paired with a small amount of concentrate.
The body remained alert and functional throughout.
This is not sedation.
It is regulation.
Mist — Lingering Effects
As the day moved forward the effects softened into a light background calm.
Thought loops occasionally returned but felt less dominant.
One noticeable shift was social energy. When later experimenting with Purple Tangie, conversation became lively and playful, suggesting that Strawberry Cough may also support social openness when layered with other strains.
The lingering effect was subtle but helpful: a sense that the nervous system had more room to move.
Boil — Intensity

No boil state appeared during these observations.
No anxiety spike.
No agitation.
No sensory overwhelm.
Even when layered with additional strains, Strawberry Cough remained emotionally stable.e.
Neurodivergent Body Notes
Primary tracking focus: OCD looping
Observed benefits:
• significant disruption of automatic morning loops
• muscle release in hips and shoulders
• digestive movement following use• calmer emotional baseline• easier redirection of intrusive thoughts
An unexpected observation was the ability to stop working intentionally later in the day, which can sometimes be difficult during highly creative or socially activated states.
Loop Disruption Rating
8 / 10
Strawberry Cough consistently reduced the intensity of morning looping and created space for the day to begin more calmly.
When paired with other strains later in the morning, the effect remained strong though slightly less focused.
Method Reflection
RSO appears to be the most effective delivery method for this strain within my system.
Taken early in the morning, the onset is gradual and stabilizing rather than abrupt.
Smoking the plant through water produced a softer, more integrated effect compared with dry smoking through a joint.
This aligns with the broader principle within the Six Waters practice:
fire activates the plant, but water teaches the body how to receive it.
Terpene Reflection
Strawberry Cough commonly contains terpene profiles including:
Myrcene – body relaxation
Pinene – clarity and alertness
Limonene – mood elevation
The observed effects align strongly with this combination, producing a state that feels both clear and calm, making the strain especially useful for early-day regulation.

Strawberry Cough stabilizes the nervous system early in the day, allowing the mind to move without becoming trapped in its own current.
Closing Reflection ≋✺Strawberry Cough — Morning Key —Six Waters Cannabis Field Notes
Strawberry Cough feels like unlocking a door that was already there.
The room was never closed.
But the body needed a key.

Strawberry Cough — Extended Field Notes Log
March 1, 2026
RSO: Strawberry Cough (~80% THC)Time: ~5:44 am
Took dose immediately upon waking.
Morning is often when automatic thought looping begins before I am fully conscious. Within about twenty minutes the mental intensity softened. Thoughts were still present but less sticky.
Body baseline felt calm and clear.
Later in the morning I smoked a joint of MAC Smasher (28%) mixed with Gugu Gold Moon Rocks (62% THC).
Notable body shifts:
• release in hips and shoulders
• digestive movement and bowel release shortly after
• relaxed mood
Ate around 9:05 am.
Some looping returned around 8:30 am, but it remained minor and easy to move around rather than becoming dominant.
Around 9 am I smoked a bowl through water. The experience felt completely different from the joint mixture earlier in the morning.
Water intake produced a more relaxed and grounded body state.
Later in the morning I moved into what I call prenaps — light sleeping states that extend into the day when nighttime sleep hasn’t fully restored the body.
March 1 – Midday
Woke again around 11:48 am.
This period followed several days where I had been unable to reset cannabis and RSO usage. When that happens, the nervous system begins to feel wirey and on edge.
OCD flares tend to appear during these periods — emotional spikes or what I sometimes describe as tantrums of the nervous system when deep triggers surface while the body is unregulated.
Returning to cannabis after those gaps tends to restore balance slowly.
Strawberry Cough helped bring the system back toward baseline.
March 2, 2026
Strawberry Cough RSO taken around 5:00 am.
This time the dose was a smaller, more realistic “smoker amount” rather than a heavier experimental dose.
The mind had been looping intensely overnight, so the goal was to interrupt the cycle early.
Additional intake:
Truffle Cake concentrate (sativa-dominant budder)Three hits at 5:14 am
Truffle Cake is a hybrid believed to come from Gorilla Butter F2 x Pancakes, often described as uplifting and euphoric with a calming body layer.
Combined effects:
• noticeable uplift in mood• calm body grounding• better focus for early tasks
Loop disruption remained strong.
March 3, 2026
Slept without morning RSO until around 6:00 am.
A new observation emerged: playing music immediately upon waking can disrupt automatic looping before cannabis is even introduced.
This discovery allows RSO dosing to be delayed later in the morning, stretching its regulation window.
Around 8:00 am I took Strawberry Cough RSO.
Later smoked Purple Tangie (sativa) — first without moon rocks, then with moon rocks.
Purple Tangie produced a very different effect:
• highly social• playful mood
• increased talkativeness
• strong conversational focus
Off-track thoughts were still present but easy to redirect.
After a workout I took another hit before doing website work. I was able to stop smoking intentionally, which is sometimes difficult during creative work periods.
Purple Tangie appeared to activate River and Mist waters strongly.
Field Observation Summary
Strawberry Cough continues to show strong potential as a morning nervous system regulator, particularly for interrupting OCD thought loops that appear immediately after waking.
Best results observed when:
• taken early in the morning• paired with water-based smoking later in the day
• combined with music or movement rituals
Loop disruption rating remained around 8/10.
