Graphic Design + Visual Worldbuilding
Selected Clients + Independent Practice

My graphic design practice begins with relationship. Give me an image, an archive, a body of research, a visual system, or an idea and I begin by learning how it behaves—its texture, constraints, histories, possibilities, and the connections already moving inside it. From there, I build.
Across independent work and client projects, I develop visual languages through typography, image-making, collage, pattern, color, photography, illustration, and increasingly experimental print-informed processes. The work moves between graphic design, creative direction, research, education, and worldbuilding rather than treating those disciplines as separate containers.
Projects including the Afro Hair ABC’s, Litm(us), the Fatalxy, BespokeCurry, and other self-directed systems use design as a way of thinking. They ask what a graphic can hold: archive, Black embodied knowledge, speculative possibility, cultural memory, instruction, refusal, humor, and theory. My work with AI sits inside that practice as both material and tension point, engaging questions of authorship, extraction, representation, and the disproportionate scrutiny placed on Black creators working with emerging technologies.
My commissioned work extends this methodology across branding, campaigns, reports, digital media, social platforms, and cultural programming, including work connected to Nashville Design Week and other creative collaborators.
I don’t approach graphic design as decoration added after an idea is finished. The design is part of how I discover what the idea is. Each project becomes a system I can enter, study, develop, and eventually move into form.
