Multiple Clients

My artistic and creative direction practice moves an idea from its earliest conceptual form into a fully realized world. I write, research, develop visual and spatial languages, build teams, direct collaborators, source materials, manage production, and shape the infrastructure required for the work to actually happen.
The medium changes, but my methodology travels. Give me a material, a medium, a system, or a set of ingredients and I understand how to enter into creative relationship with it—studying how it behaves, understanding its possibilities and constraints, making connections, experimenting, developing the idea, and moving it into execution.

My background in theatre and stage management means I understand that creative direction is not only what happens in front of house or what eventually appears in the frame. I think about the systems underneath the experience: accessibility, communication, labor, timing, logistics, environment, audience, collaborators, and what people need in order to participate fully.

Across BespokeCurry, Bead + Cowrie Studio, performance, photography, events, design, education, and collaborative projects, I work from both sides of the process: I can sit in generative space long enough to discover what the work wants to become, and I know how to build the infrastructure that allows it to arrive.
That last paragraph is particularly important now because it lets the portfolio establish the architecture you’ve been uncovering across these sections: BespokeCurry is the cosmos/practice; Bead + Cowrie is a studio within it; artistic/creative direction is one of the ways your creative intelligence moves across mediums.
